Position Overview:
As a Caser, you will work within the Packaging Department to ensure finished product is packaged, coded, and palletized according to required specifications. This role involves operating and monitoring tray packing equipment, maintaining product quality standards, completing required documentation, and supporting safe, efficient production. This is a temporary, part-time position. The duration of the assignment is based on operational requirements and demand and does not have a guaranteed end date.
Schedule:
- Two (2) consecutive 8-hour shifts
- Wednesday & Thursday or Thursday & Friday
- 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Scheduled based on operational demand and may occur weekly or every second week.
Wage Rate: $23.02 / hour
- Operate and monitor tray packer and shrink tunnel equipment to ensure product is packaged correctly
- Check trays, glue, labels, and product codes regularly to maintain quality standards
- Keep packaging materials supplied and the work area clean during production
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all safety procedures and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Support team operations and perform other related duties as required
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow established procedures
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking product codes and packaging quality
- Able to complete production documentation accurately and legibly
- Reliable and punctual, with consistent attendance
- Able to work scheduled shifts based on operational demand
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a structured production environment
