Inventory Coordinator (Maintenance Department)

Position Overview:
The Inventory Coordinator in the Maintenance Department ensures smooth operations across ADL’s facilities by managing maintenance inventory, including purchasing, organizing, and distributing parts and supplies. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting the maintenance team’s efficiency while upholding safety and operational standards.

- Manage maintenance inventory, including receiving, organizing, and maintaining stock levels of parts and supplies.
- Process and maintain accurate records for inventory transactions, work orders, and invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely sourcing, delivery, and reconciliation of parts and supplies.
- Support the maintenance team by restocking cleaning supplies, managing uniforms, and ensuring inventory areas are clean and organized.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols and assist in maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in process improvements and support additional tasks as needed to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in inventory management or related fields are an asset.
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related administrative role, ideally in a maintenance or operational environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with experience in inventory or maintenance software considered a strong asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and processing accurate documentation.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, team members, and other departments.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
- Physical ability to lift and handle items as part of inventory management tasks (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (preferred).
