Learning, Development, and Wellness Coordinator
Type: Full-time

Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is a producer-owned, independent cooperative with dairy processing plants and a retail food distribution facility across Prince Edward Island (PEI). For over 70 years, ADL has been dedicated to transforming fresh milk from local PEI farms into premium dairy products, including milk, cheese, cream, butter, and canned milk. Position Overview:
The Learning, Development, and Wellness coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that promote employee development, engagement, and well-being. This role will focus on enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce while ensuring their physical and mental health needs are met.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $65,000 – $72,000

Learning and Development:
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with department heads to create career development plans for employees.
Employee Wellness:
- Support staff with WCB and Health benefit claims provider, and work with these third parties to assist with employee return to work plans/ease backs that ensure success
- Direct and support employee’s request for emotional or medical support. Using knowledge of the current benefit structure to help direct employees when questions around there wellbeing are brought forward.
- Develop and implement wellness programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Organize health and wellness activities provide resources and support for employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Monitor and assess the impact of wellness initiatives on employee well-being and productivity.
Employee Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to gather insights and improve workplace satisfaction.
- Plan and coordinate team-building activities and events.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide support as needed.
- Degree/diploma in Business, Human Resources, Adult Learning or a related field, with related and relevant experience, including experience with the implementation of learning programs.
- Demonstrated experience administering a Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, providing direction and support to team members, and prioritizing work effectively
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and highly accurate in managing data and records with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to effectively serve employees in accessing learning systems and program, with strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with client groups with learning needs
- Familiarity with Human Resources practices especially with respect to legislated learning requirements
- Experience with eLearning module creation is an asset
- Experience with HRIS is an asset
- CPHR designation or working towards designation would be considered an asset
- Proficient with MS Office
