Full Time Merchandiser

For 70 years, we have processed fresh milk from PEI farms to produce premium dairy products, including milk, cheese, cream, butter, and ice cream. Do you thrive on arranging products effectively, ensuring they’re placed at the right time and in the right quantities? We’re seeking a dependable Retail Merchandiser to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our company’s accomplishments.

Position Overview:

The Retail Merchandiser will ensure that products appear in the right store, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

Hours:

Shifts will be either morning and evenings. Range from 6:00AM to 4:00PM on delivery days when needed and 11:00AM to 9:00PM evenings when merchandising.

Wage rate: $18.37/hr with fuel allowance and phone allowance. It includes a comprehensive benefits package including a co‐pay health and dental benefits plan, life and disability insurance, and Employee Assistance Program.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Restock, rotate company products following store planograms.
  • Maintain clean product space and remove damaged or out of date product.
  • Keep product tidy and organized in coolers.
  • Complete and submit any required paperwork.
  • Follow all Company and Store policies regarding merchandising product, sign in/out procedures and safety.
  • Act as an Ambassador by providing customer service to Consumers and store personnel by answering questions, locating product, and providing assistance as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A reliable mode of transportation for traveling between various retail stores in the area.
  • Experience working in grocery and/or retail required
  • Previous merchandising experience would be considered an asset.
  • Able to perform labour intensive work.
  • Detail oriented – able to read and understand store planogram.

Education and Training:
  • Previous experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks or certification would be considered an asset.
