Night Shift Picker – Seasonal

Position Overview:
As a Seasonal Night Shift Picker, you’ll play a key role in preparing orders for delivery by picking, packing, and organizing products with care and accuracy. This is an active, hands-on role that requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work steadily as part of a team. You’ll move through different areas of the warehouse, help build well-organized pallets, and make sure every order meets our high standards for quality and safety—all while supporting a smooth, reliable operation.
Location: ADL Foodservice, 400 Read Drive, Summerside, PE
Term: Start ASAP until mid/late October
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (7:00PM – 3:30AM)
Wage Rate: $20.02 – $22.24 / hour
- Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipping.
- Build and organize pallets with care, ensuring product safety.
- Handle and organize shipments using both manual methods and equipment.
- Work across temperature-controlled environments, maintaining product quality.
- Repack products as needed while upholding quality standards.
- Perform quality checks before products are dispatched.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and functional.
- Accurately complete inventory and shipment paperwork.
- Use handheld scanners to process orders; prior experience is an asset.
- Work collaboratively to resolve product issues as they arise.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking environment is preferred.
- Available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and staying active throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are picked and packed accurately.
- Ability to work at a steady, efficient pace in a large warehouse setting.
- Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision.
- Reliability, integrity, and a commitment to working collaboratively—even when completing tasks independently.
- Comfortable working in chilled or refrigerated environments.
- Ability to follow instructions and use handheld scanners or basic tools.
