Position Overview:
In the role of Seasonal Shipper and Receiver, you’ll handle both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring smooth operations in our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include everything from moving and sorting goods to maintaining accurate records. This position combines active physical work with a keen eye for detail, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and values precision and organization in their daily tasks.
Term: Start ASAP until mid/late October
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Wage Rate: $20.02 – $22.24 / hour
- Assist in the loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of shipments, utilizing both manual labor and equipment.
- Verify the contents of shipments against records to ensure accuracy.
- Adapt to working in varying temperature environments while handling products with care.
- Conduct thorough inspections to confirm the condition of received products.
- Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse environment.
- Complete all necessary inventory and shipment paperwork accurately.
- Use handheld scanners effectively, with knowledge and experience being an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, move quickly, and adapt to flexible job requirements.
- Ability to work reliably and efficiently, including overtime when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Fall Arrest certification beneficial.
