The ADL Store Key Holder

Position Overview:
Reporting to The ADL Store Supervisor, the Store Key Holder supports the day-to-day operations of The ADL Store. This position helps ensure the store operates efficiently through merchandising, inventory management, cash handling, staff scheduling, customer service, and vendor relationships while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.

- Support the day-to-day operations of The ADL Store to help achieve store goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Process customer transactions, complete daily cash reconciliations, prepare monthly reports, and conduct bank runs for coin orders.
- Assist with staff scheduling and support the onboarding and training of store staff.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain retail refrigeration shelves, and ensure products are organized and rotated in accordance with FIFO principles.
- Set up and maintain attractive product displays throughout the store in accordance with merchandising standards.
- Support initiatives that maximize sales and profitability, including maintaining the store’s social media presence.
- Follow and enforce store policies, security measures, and customer service standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and appealing shopping environment.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and onsite staff.
- Strong background in customer service/customer experience.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with inventory management.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Shopify, is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of social media and e-commerce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and dependable.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
